Gastritis Treatment

Gastritis is a condition where Gastric acid erodes the lining of GIT. It may be triggered by viruses, overuse of medications, such as NSAIDs, food allergies, and some autoimmune diseases.

The symptoms may include:
– Burning in the stomach or chest area;
– Nausea with vomiting;
– Heartburn, Reflux
– A feeling of fullness and bloating after eating, Some time Diarrohea

Medication: We can treat gastritis using medications such as proton-pump inhibitors, H2 Antagonas, antibiotics in case of infections that reduce acid levels in the stomach.

Diet: Another option for treating gastritis is through diet modification like avoiding spicy food, alcohol, carbonated drinks, etc.
